ALL ABOUT ME
I graduated from the University of Ottawa in 1994 and was called to the Bar in 1996. I started out a family law practice in 1996 but since then it has evolved to more complex matters including bankruptcy, estates, and health care law.
I have had success in my cases because I use a reasonable and practical approach. It is always a goal to resolve matters prior to arguing in court because you can customize your results and avoid heavy cost consequences. However, when in Court I do my best to obtain the best result I can.
I have a passion for helping people who are trying to protect their assets which they worked hard to obtain.
I have an interest in resolving impossible cases and have had enormous success doing so.
I’ve been practicing since 1996 and have had success at all levels of appeals court.
My health care law practice consists of consent and capacity board cases, elder law, end of life decisions, disputes between family members over decision making, financial incapacity and many other issues that involve some aspect of health care, and finances. I have had over 300 consent and capacity board cases, many of them reported.
Mother of 3 children, and 2 dogs. Passions include True Crime Documentaries, Fashion, Cooking and Discovering the City’s Best Pizza and Pad Thai.
APPEALS
I have had argued many appeals at the Court of Appeal, Supreme Court Leave Applications, and at Divisional Court.
